The FDTN prefix: Foundation, is a term to describe and designate only recognized Mini Gypsy Cobs considered FDTN direct Heritage Gypsy Equine genetics imported from, or living in their homeland of origination with full credits being Ireland, British Isles, England, United Kingdom, including imported in utero, approved imported embryo, approved imported artificial means, and the offspring resulting from FDTN x FDTN Parents. For an equine to be FDTN (Foundation), FDTN always and only applies respectfully, to the Gypsy equine genetics originating from their homeland as clearly stated. FDTN x FDTN Heritage Stock only produces FDTN Heritage Stock, no matter where it is bred and foaled, or imported to, or from.
The IGEA Herd Books include and recognize the FDTN Mini Gypsy Cob at 13 Hands and under in their own separate Stud Book within the IGEA Herd Books. Measured at highest point of wither.
IGEA registered Mini Gypsy Cobs recognized as Foundation have the FDTN prefix in front of their name on their Registration Certificate and in Certified Pedigrees. Their Registration Certificates are printed on Blue Certificate paper and include the Gold IGEA custom seal.
❗️❗️❗️When the future time arrives that any IGEA recognized FDTN Mini Gypsy Cob has FIVE FULL GENERATIONS of Parent Verified DNA, the FDTN prefix will be removed from it's name in the Stud Book and it will be recognized and listed in the IGEA Premier Mini Gypsy Cob Stud Book.
IGEA reserves the right and final decision to approve or decline any application.
